All Roads Lead To Winslow...

Winslow Township is well served by major highways, rail lines and aviation hubs. Winslow offers an exceptional location for business such as distribution centers, warehouses, office parks and others to which transportation is critical.

Winslow Township is a dynamic community that is home to some of the last significant tracts of developable land in South Jersey.

Real estate costs remain low and some municipally owned vacant land is available. Taxes are moderate and a tax abatement program is in place. Winslow Township is located in Camden County. It is a historic community incorporated in 1845 and takes in many well-known places such as Sicklerville, Blue Anchor, West Atco and Cedar Brook. Winslow is a sprawling jurisdiction encompassing approximately 58 square miles. Winslow operates its own, in-house water and sewer utility. The recent upgrade and expansion of the municipal water and sewer system and a concurrent revision of the Township's Zoning Ordinance and Master Plan have set the stage for exceptional opportunities in growth and development.

Transportation

Located virtually equidistant from Philadelphia and Atlantic City, Winslow is transected by the Route 73 Corridor. The Atlantic City Expressway runs through the southern portion of the Township, while the White Horse Pike runs through its north. Winslow can be accessed at Exits 41, 38, 33 and 31 of the Expressway. There is a general aviation airport in Winslow and we are just over 20 miles from both the Atlantic City International and Philadelphia International Airports.Winslow is a two-hour drive from both New York City and Baltimore. This extraordinary location and these transportation resources are suggestive of the Township's great potential.

Traffic studies were conducted in 2002 in the populous Sicklerville section of the Township near Expressway Exit 38. The intersection of County Roads 536 (Spur) and 705 had combined weekly traffic over 200,000 vehicles in June, 2002. Traffic counts are in progress in Winslow's central artery, Route 73. Commercial and passenger rail lines pass through the length of the Township. Winslow is a stop on the N.J. Transit Atlantic City rail line and has a "Park and Ride" facility.

Zoning, Infrastructure, and Land Use

Winslow's population as documented in 2020 is 39,907 - and growing!

Winslow's 2000 population was 34,611, a 15% increase over 1990 (almost three times the South Jersey growth rate). It is located in the Burlington/Camden/Gloucester/Cumberland County real estate market that is home to over 1,390,000 people and over 548,000 jobs. Camden County alone had 537,234 residents in 2000. Winslow is a relatively young population with the greatest percentage of its residents falling in the 25 - 44 year old group (22%). 76% of Township residences are owner-occupied. In addition to its outstanding transportation infrastructure, Winslow recently has extended municipal water and sewer utilities to its re-zoned Development Area on Route 73. Developers should contact the Township to request information regarding developable land, zoning, ownership and Redevelopment opportunities.
