                                                      WINSLOW TOWNSHIP POLICE PRESENTS: 1^ST ANNUAL “COPS AND BOBBERS”

The Winslow Township Fire Department, Winslow Township EMS, Winslow Township Municipal Drug and Alcohol Alliance, GCADA, NJ Division of Fish and Wildlife, local businesses and volunteers from throughout the community will be on hand to assist as well.  The goal of “Cops & Bobbers” is to teach kids about fishing, and thus directing their attention away from negative influences like gangs, drugs, and criminal activity.  Additionally, it is our hope that friendships that develop between our Officers and the kids around the lake, will continue and spread throughout our community.

DATE/TIME: Saturday, October 14^th, 2017 from 11:00 – 2:00 PM

                                                                                                                                Rain Date:  Sunday October 15^th, 2017

    LOCATION: Oak Pond, 220 Blue Anchor Road, Sicklerville NJ 08081

1. The first 30 eligible registrants will receive a T-Shirt, Fishing Cap, and a rod/reel combo.

2. Eligible registrants: Winslow Twp. Residents between the ages of 6-14.

3. All registrants MUST be accompanied by an adult and there will be a waiver form to be signed the day of the event.

4. There will be loaner rods/reels available for use the day of the event if needed.  Bait and tackle will also be supplied, however, personal equipment may be used

5. Fishing licenses are not necessary for the children.

6. Complimentary refreshments will be available, as well as prizes and giveaways.
