Get Rid of Hazardous Household Waste this Saturday
Camden County residents are asked to keep the environment healthy by bringing oil-based paints, solvents, thinners, pesticides, herbicides, gasoline, kerosene, polishes, photographic chemicals, automotive batteries, antifreeze, brake fluid, transmission fluid, other car products, pool chemicals and cleaning fluids to the Pennsauken Sanitary Landfill, 9600 River Road, on September 11 from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. “Each year, Camden County’s Special Household Waste Collection Program keeps over 400,000 pounds of hazardous material from the county waste stream,” said Freeholder Jeffery L. Nash, liaison to Environmental Affairs.
