In response to Wednesday night’s storm Township OEM officials surveyed the impact to residents while public works crews were dispatched to clear roads, basins and public areas.
Due to the widespread impact on public and private property please be advised that downed limbs up to 3 inches in diameter can be cut into 4 foot lengths and tied together in bundles weighing no more than 45 pounds. These bundles can be placed at the curb and will be picked up on trash day. Sticks and other small vegetation can also be put in reusable trash containers or paper vegetation bags and will be picked with regular trash. Nothing larger than 3 inches in diameter or longer than 4 feet will be picked up at the curbside.
Logs and limbs larger than 3 inches in diameter can be brought to the Winslow Township Department of Public Works for disposal. This vegetation does not have to be bundled, however it must be cut into 4 foot lengths. Storm debris can be dropped off between 7:00 am and 3:00 pm starting today through next Friday, September 13th. Storm debris will not be accepted at Public Works after the September 13th date.
