PUBLIC NOTICE: ANNUAL REORGANIZATION MEETING FOR

 WINSLOW TOWNSHIP PLANNING BOARD

             In accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, and the recommendations of the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, Division of Local Government Services, Winslow Township will host Planning Board meetings via video teleconferencing. The Annual Reorganization Meeting of the Winslow Township Planning Board previously scheduled for January 20, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. has been rescheduled and will be conducted on January 27, 2022 at 6:30 p.m.  Eastern Time.  This meeting will be changed to occur virtually via video teleconferencing by way of Zoom Video Communications rather than an “in person” meeting.  Members of the public will have full access to the meeting/hearings and will also be able to give comment and/or cross examine witnesses through Zoom or telephone.  This action is being taken in order to limit any potential spread of COVID-19 and protect the safety of both residents, township staff, professionals and applicants. All plans, resolutions and materials on the Agenda are electronically available for public review on and through the Winslow Township website at www.winslowtownship.com.  Members of the public may contact the Planning Board Secretary or Acting Secretary at 609-567-0700 extension 8006 or bhouseholder@winslowtownship.com to receive a hard copy of the resolution(s), plans and applications if any, by mail or drop/pick up by appointment.  The reorganization agenda and resolutions will be posted on the website in advance of the scheduled Board Meeting and posted for Board and public access prior to and during the video meeting.  The Planning Board will also be voting on the Meeting Minutes from any prior meeting, and to memorialize any resolutions previously adopted.  To facilitate the meeting, the Planning Board will be using the video conferencing service ZOOM. If members of the public wish to offer a public comment, the Winslow Township Planning Board encourages members of the public to attend the Planning Board meeting virtually. If you wish to participate in the virtual meeting, please contact the Board Secretary or Acting Secretary at (609)567-0700 extension 8006 or extension 8007. You should download the zoom app, and establish a zoom account.  Any member of the public who wishes to submit a public comment at such meetings will be provided the ability to do so during a specific portion of the meeting. Members of the public looking to offer a comment are to follow the steps below.

If you contact the Board Secretary/Acting Secretary via email prior to 4:30 p.m. the day before the meeting, with your name, address and comments, same will be read into the record at the time of the hearing.

            Meeting Participation Rules:

            1. All participants will be set to “listen only”.

            2. If a participant during a ZOOM would like to comment during a portion of the meeting set aside for public participation, they must click the “Raise Hand” button and the host will unmute them.

3. If a participant who has dialed into ZOOM would like to comment during a portion set aside for public participation, they must dial *9 which is the code for Raise Hand, or *6 which is the code for unmute, and the host will unmute them at the appropriate time.
